Dr Manoharan Shunmugam, Director of Clinical Services and a Consultant Ophthalmologist. Sub-specialty in Adult and Paediatric retinal diseases. Dr Mano graduated from the University of Dundee and did his initial training in Ophthalmology at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Scotland. He completed his training in London, followed by vitreoretinal surgery fellowships at St Thomas’ Hospital, London and LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. He is currently recognised as the only fully trained Paediatric vitreoretinal surgeon in Malaysia and treats complex retinal cases from around the region, especially in premature babies. He is the current President of the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology.
